This course focuses on world wines and is essential for understanding the main origins, styles and regions outside Iberia, their global impact and the major international trends. Learn about relevant (and surprising!) countries and regions in Europe, the Americas, Asia and Oceania, their differentiating factors and their importance in the sector.
The training culminates in the award of a certificate showing that the trainee has progressed to an advanced level of knowledge about the main styles, regions and trends on the international wine scene.

The exam consists of 50 multiple-choice questions and a practical part. To pass the exam, the student must obtain a minimum mark of 55%.
Yes. This training requires prior knowledge of the essentials of wine production, acquired on the SWA 2 Wine Course - Portugal and Spain, or WSET Level 2 Qualification in Wine.
O SWA Course 3 - Wines of the World can be a basis for preparation for the WSET Level 3 Wine Course (Wine & Spirit Education Trust), a globally recognized certification body.
